U.S. National Team Men's Assistant Coach Position (Posted 6/20)
Assistant coach will assist the men's head coach in the training, preparation and development of U.S. men's crews for international competition.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Assisting and organizing daily practices for the men's programs at USRowing and other training centers.
- Monitoring and evaluating athletes progress on a monthly basis in conjunction with the head coach in accordance with USRowing's High Performance and developmental plans.
- Assisting and organizing team administrative duties, travel logistics and training center equipment maintenance / inventory.
Qualifications and Attributes
- At least five (5) years of coaching at the U.S. collegiate and/or international level.
- USRowing Level 3 Coaching Certificate or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work and perform in a competitive environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing individual differences and group dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, observe confidentiality and use discretion and initiative.

Second Assistant coach will assist the men's coaching staff in the training, preparation and development of U.S. men's crews for international competition.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Assisting and organizing daily practices for the men's programs at USRowing and other training centers.
- Monitoring and evaluating athletes progress on a monthly basis in conjunction with the coaching staff in accordance with USRowing's High Performance and developmental plans.
- Assisting and organizing team functions, travel logistics and training center equipment maintenance / inventory.
- To serves as the main administrative liaison to staff and the team.
- Assisting USRowing's National Teams programs department in all aspects of National Team events.
Qualifications and Attributes :
- At least two (2) years of coaching at the U.S. collegiate and/or international level preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work and perform in a competitive environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing individual differences and group dynamics.
