Clinic Information

Level I and II clinics will be one day clinics.

Coaching manuals must be read prior to the clinic. We have put the coaching manuals online and when you register you will get the link to the manuals. You will receive a paper copy when you arrive at the clinic.

CPR and first aid are required to receive the Level I certificate. CPR, first aid and boating safety are required for Level II certification. You do not have to obtain the certifications prior to the clinic. If you have copies, you may give them to the clinician or you can mail or email them later to Willie Black.

USRowing Full Priviledge membership is required to access the online manual and attend the clinic.

I Coaching Clinic

I & II Coaching Clinic
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Upper Arlington HS

When: DATE CHANGE- Level I - September 18, Saturday 10am to 5pm (no lunch break)
Level II September 19, Sunday 9am to 4:30pm (45' for lunch)
Cost:
Level I- $125,
Level I is open to all coaches, parents,
teachers, rowers of any skill level or experience.
Level II - $150
Level II is open to those who have had a level I for at least 6 months or a coach who has coached for at least a year and is comfortable with the basics of technique, training plans, physiology, and rigging. Safety is a critical part of the level I program so a coach must be well versed in the safety aspects of where they coach.
