California and Western Washington Top Division I and II Polls; Trinity and Williams Share Top Spot in Division III
The University of California at Berkeley claimed the top spot in this week’s USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association NCAA Division I Varsity Eight Coaches Poll, while Western Washington University topped the Division II poll. Trinity College and Williams College tied for the top spot in the Division III poll.
In Division I, California picked up 18 first-place votes to remain atop the poll. Yale garnered six first-place votes to rank second. Virginia ranked third, followed by Princeton and Washington State.
For the fifth consecutive week, Western Washington was a unanimous choice for the top spot in the Division II poll, receiving all six first-place votes. Dowling College ranked second, while Nova Southeastern ranked third.
Trinity and Williams both received five first-place votes to tie for the top spot in the Division III poll. The United States Coast Guard Academy ranked third, followed by Bates College and Ithaca College.

Washington Tops Men’s Eight Poll; Princeton Tops Women’s Lightweight Eight Poll
The University of Washington once again topped this week’s USRowing Men’s Varsity Eight collegiate coaches’ poll, while Princeton University remained on top of the USRowing Women’s Varsity Lightweight Eight Collegiate Coaches Poll.
Washington was again the unanimous choice for the top spot in the men’s varsity eight poll. The Huskies received all 17 first-place votes. Brown University ranked second, followed by Princeton, California and Harvard.
Princeton earned six of nine first-place votes to take the top spot in this week’s women’s lightweight eight poll. Stanford ranked second, followed by Georgetown, Radcliffe and Wisconsin. Stanford received two first-place votes, while Bucknell University received one first-place vote.
The next men’s lightweight eight poll of the year will be released April 23.
