Personal
William enjoys reading, listening to music, watching television, and spending time with his teammates and those close to him. A sister-like figure in his life joined the sport of rowing and recommended the sport to him. William then joined the program at Newport and stayed with it since. He names his personal hero as his coach, Nick DAntoni. William said all the work DAntoni has put into coaching the team to make them better rowers, which has in turn made them better people, is something he looks up to. William said he looks up to DAntoni, and he would not be here without him.
