Voices In Rowing

Whether you've rowed, coached, volunteered, refereed, led a regatta, or are the parent of an athlete, you have contributed to rowing in the United States, and are an important part of our shared rowing community.

USRowing has evolved, as all organizations do over time. We've seen success and positive change, as well as our fair share of missteps and challenges. Like any good athlete, we strive to be coachable — committed to learning, improving, and getting better every day. That’s why your voice matters here.

As we look to the future—especially with the LA Games on the horizon—we believe it’s our collective responsibility and opportunity to shape the future of our sport and advance its legacy. To do that, we need to hear from you.

There are several ways for you to share what’s most important, what’s working, and what needs to improve. Opportunities for feedback include a member survey, virtual forums per stakeholder group, leadership groups, and and our annual All Member Meeting.

We hope you’ll take part and appreciate your honest feedback.

Engagement Opportunities

Leadership Group Opportunities

With rowing growing and the U.S. set to host the Olympics and Paralympics, USRowing is launching Leadership Groups to strengthen community connections and advance the sport.

These groups will work directly with USRowing decision-makers, represent diverse voices, and help promote a positive, enthusiastic rowing culture nationwide.

Will you join us?

We seek committed volunteers to provide insight, strategic input, and represent the wide range of rowing disciplines—from grassroots to high performance, from sculling, sweep, adaptive, coastal, and indoor to coaching.

Purpose:

Rowing's Leadership Groups serve as advisory and advocacy channels within the National Governing Body.

This is an opportunity for your participation in the future of rowing.  Add your voice to other nationally-minded rowers and others, while expanding your own rowing community and experience.

Surveys

Masters Rowing Survey:

Annual Member Survey:

This annual, anonymous survey will help inform USRowing's path forward when it comes to membership, communications, programming, and more. As the rowing community continues to expand and change, it has never been more important to understand the unique and evolving needs of our members.

This survey closed on June 26, 2025. Thank you for participating. Stay tuned for results.
