Charlie Josephbek

One-U19, 2024

Served as an alternate at the 2024 Under-19 World Rowing Championships. Won the quadruple sculls at the 2022 CanAmMex Regatta. Finished fourth in the single sculls at the 2022 CanAmMex Regatta.

Charlie will be studying mechanical engineering at the University of California, San Diego. He won the 2023 USRowing Scholar Athlete Award and was named to the Principal's Honor Roll in 2024, and was a member of the National Honor Society (2021-2024). He enjoys mountain biking, 3D printing/modeling, and skiing. He likes to build things. His mom wanted to be a rower in college, but couldn't, and wanted his brothers and him to try it out. His hero is Louis Zamperini, because of his attitude, and he signed a flag in my boathouse.  His favorite TV show is Breaking Bad, and his favorite band is Alice in Chains.
