Gary Rought

Gary enjoys hanging with the boys, sleeping, and watching Netflix. He loves law and wants to become a lawyer. Gary used to play soccer before he started rowing. He got introduced to the sport through his older brother. Gary would always get dragged along to regattas, and the coach would always ask him when he was going to start rowing. The summer before his eighth-grade year, he did a learn-to-row and feel in love with the sport. One of his personal heroes is his current coach, Marc Oria. Marcs dedication to the sport is unlike any other. Hes teaching the guys on the team real values and making them into better men every day. Gary says that Marc doesnt know the impact he has on all of them and that he will never forget the way Marc has shaped him and made him a better man.
