Personal
John enjoys coaching (rowing), cooking, cycling, running, lifting, reading, watching TV and movies with my partner, Dave, and traveling domestically and internationally (and learning while he does). He separated from the Coast Guard in August 2021 after 10 years of active-duty service. John said he brings the noise as he is often heard before hes seen. He was introduced to rowing by some friends in high school and was hooked after the first time in a barge. John is moving to Rotterdam, The Netherland, for a one-year graduate program at Erasmus University Rotterdam and will be rowing internationally for A.R.S.R. Skadi starting in October.
