Personal

Jamie enjoys music, festivals, gigs, and spending time with family. He found rowing through his dad and brother. Both were good coxswains. Jamie was a bit too big to cox, so he sat in a rowing seat. He said it turns out his stubbornness was quite well suited to it. He lists his personal heroes as Michael Jordan for his undying will to win and to never give up. Jamie grew up watching him play. And, his mom and dad. Jamie said he can only hope to give support to his kids like they've given him. When hes done rowing he wants to chill out with friends and watch the sun set with some tunes. His favorite place to compete is the Henley Royal Regatta and his favorite place to travel is Lucerne, Switzerland. He lists his favorite Olympic moment as when Derrick Redmond pulled his hamstring and his dad ran onto the track to help him to the finish line. He is a big fan of EDM, Drum & Bass, Rock, and Indy: Fred Again, Bou, Rolling Stones, The Vaccines are one from each of them.
