Megan Walsh

Besides rowing, Megan loves to play volleyball and has played for almost 15 years. Megan found rowing after a career-ending injury while playing volleyball in college. After a Google search, her father suggested Megan try rowing, and she fell in love with it. Megan admires her Oklahoma Rowing coach, Sarah Trowbirdge, who was an Olympian in the womens double sculls in 2012. She said her story of resilience and determination to become an Olympian is incredible and inspiring. Megan would like to work in the finance sector and coach rowing one day, as well as train and compete in triathlons. Her favorite television series is The Office, and her favorite movies are the Harry Potter series, as well as The Lord of the Rings.
