Team USA Athlete Commission Election Results

USRowing would like to congratulate the following athletes for their selection to the Team USA Athlete Commission.

Grace Latz - Team USA AC Alternate Athlete Representative

The Team USA AC Representative and Team USA AC Alternate Athlete Representative serve three roles:

  1. They represent rowers on the Team USA AC,
  2. They serve as athlete representatives on the USRowing Board of Directors, and
  3. They serve on the USRowing Athlete Council.

Team USA Athlete Commission

The election for rowing's representatives to the The Team USA Athlete’s Commission (“Team USA AC”), formerly the USOPC Athletes’ Advisory Council (“AAC”), is underway. 

Eligible voters will receive their voting credentials from Survey & Ballot Systems on Monday, October 28. Voting will run through November 8, 2024.

In order to vote, athletes must meet the “USOPC 10 Year Athlete” as defined by the USOPC in its Bylaws. Please see the 2024 AAC Election Procedures and Timeline for details on who is eligible to vote.

Two “USOPC 10 Year Athletes”, who shall be the Representative and Alternate Representative for the sport of rowing to the Team USA AC, will be elected. The top vote recipient during USRowing’s Team USA AC election will serve as the Representative and the second leading vote recipient will serve as the Alternate Representative.

2024 Team USA Athlete Commission Representative Candidate Bios


USRowing is currently accepting nominations for our sport’s representatives to the The Team USA Athlete’s Commission (“Team USA AC”), formerly the USOPC Athletes’ Advisory Council (“AAC”). 

The Team USA AC serves as the representative group and voice of Team USA athletes. It is responsible for broadening communication between the USOPC and active athletes and serves as a source of input and advice to the USOPC Board of Directors. 

Below are the election requirements and procedures to select USRowing’s representatives to the Team USA Athletes’ Commission. The Team USA AC Representative and Team USA AC Alternate Athlete Representative serve three roles:

  1. They represent rowers on the Team USA AC,
  2. They serve as athlete representatives on the USRowing Board of Directors, and
  3. They serve on the USRowing Athlete Council.

All candidates must be self-nominated and submit the linked forms no later than October 21, 2024Please remember, no paid employee of the USRowing or the USOPC is eligible to run.

USRowing will use the email addresses on file in the USRowing membership database to contact eligible members. Athletes who are part of the voting pool should contact USRowing prior to the Date of Record, October 13, 2024, to ensure their contact information is current and accurate.
