2025 USRowing Youth National Championships - Sarasota, Fla

June 12-15, 2025

The 2025 Youth National Championships marks the 30th anniversary of the event. It has become one of the most significant youth sporting events in the United States and was awarded the SportsTravel Best Amateur Sports Event in 2023. Over four days, the event attracts over 4,000 athletes and1,000 coaches, and draws more than 5,000 spectators.

Nathan Benderson Park has hosted multiple USRowing events, including the Olympic Trials and the 2017 World Rowing Championships. In May, athletes will qualify at one of the 2025 USRowing Youth National Championships Qualifying Regattas and end their high school spring seasons with the USRowing Youth National Championships.

Entry Packet 

The 2025 USRowing domestic regatta entry packets were posted for a comment period to all members from December 1 to December 31, 2024. The final entry packet for the 2025 USRowing Youth National Championships has now been published.

Volunteer Policy

Volunteers are a critical component of all regattas. Our sport’s sustainability and success rely heavily on these dedicated supporters, who help ensure that our rowers, teams, coaches, spectators, and more have a safe, fair, and rewarding experience. The purpose of this policy is to provide additional volunteer support at USRowing-owned regattas to Local Organizing Committees (LOCs).

Open Practice Sign-Up

From 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET, on June 10 and June 11, an Open Practice session will be available for crews unable to launch during their scheduled time due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., flight cancellations). Open Practice requests can be submitted on the link below. 

*Please note that this schedule may be adjusted due to weather or other circumstances. Updates will be sent out via text and published on RegattaCentral for the most up to date information. 

Spectator Tickets

General Admission and VIP tickets will soon be available for all spectators. Stay tuned for more details on ticket options. Mark your calendars—the tentative launch date for ticket sales is May 28, 2025!

Livestream

The 2025 USRowing Youth National Championships livestream will be broadcasted on Overnght. Please note that all time-trial racing will not be part of the livestream. 

Parking

Team Parking

All teams will be given one (1) parking pass upon checking in at the registration tent at the 2025 USRowing Youth National Championships. This parking pass allows one team vehicle to park on the island throughout the competition. 

Each team will be required to register one (1) vehicle with USRowing and this is the only vehicle that will receive a parking pass. If any other vehicles park on site without a parking pass, they may be towed.

Spectator Parking

Spectator parking will be available for $15 per day, per vehicle. A shuttle will be available to bring spectators to the venue.

Awards Ceremony

First, Second, and Third place awards will be awarded at the Awards Stage. More information on when the awards ceremonies will be posted once entries close.
