USRowing Adds Stonewall Regatta as First Ever Community Partner

USRowing is excited to add Stonewall Regatta as our first ever community partners.

The Stonewall Regatta is focused on creating a regatta welcoming to all individuals and is a racing opportunity for athletes of all gender identities and gender expression. This mission is reflected in their rowing categories, including a new non-binary rower racing category for single sculls, double sculls, and fours with coxswains. Mixed gender category masters races will operate under a policy specific to Stonewall Regatta that follows USRowing's gender policy.

United We Row Community Regatta Partners exemplify the values of creating a "Seat in the Boat for Everyone". They focus on fostering inclusivity and bring visibility to an underrepresented group of athletes in rowing. Our goal is to amplify these regattas and support them as they create a welcoming experience for all rowers. Please stay tuned to learn more and apply for a 2025 regatta partnership.

Join the DC Strokes Rowing Club for the 30th Anniversary of the Stonewall Regatta! June 2, 2024, Anacostia Community Boathouse. 

This year, for the first time ever we are accepting entries for exclusively nonbinary gender races in the 1x, 2+/x, and 4+/x categories, and are piloting inclusive mixed gender boats for 2+/x, 4+/x, and 8+ events.
