2024 USRowing Youth Series – Week 2 Preview

The road to the 2024 USRowing Youth National Championships continues this weekend as four more qualification regattas will be held across the country.
 
Over 2,000 athletes are scheduled to race at the 2024 USRowing Mid-Atlantic Youth Championships May 11-12 at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J. More than 500 boats from 65 clubs are entered across 51 events. Princeton National Rowing Association (PNRA) leads the way with 25 boats scheduled to compete. The men's youth four with coxswain features the most entries with 27, followed by the men's youth double sculls with 26.
 
Nearly 1,500 athletes and 474 crews from 53 clubs are scheduled to race at the 2024 USRowing Southeast Youth Championships. Held May 11-12 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla., crews will be vying for titles in 47 events. Sarasota Crew has the most entries at the regatta with 55 boats scheduled to race. Orlando Area Rowing has 34 entries, followed by St. Andrew's 32 entries. The men's youth double sculls leads the way in entries with 24 crews scheduled to race. The men's under 17 single sculls has 23 entries. 
 
The 2024 New York State Scholastic Rowing Championships will be held May 11-12 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. More than 60 New York teams and over 600 boats are scheduled to compete. Row America Rye leads the way with 35 entries, followed by Port Jefferson Rowing Club with 29 entries. Thirty-three crews are entered in the women's varsity four with coxswain. 

The 2024 Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championships, which will take place May 11-12 at Kent Lake in Milford, Mich., will feature nearly 560 boats from 49 clubs.

The 2024 USRowing Youth National Championships will be held in partnership with Visit Sarasota County and the Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy from June 8-11 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota-Bradenton, Fla. Athletes must qualify for the event through one of 12 qualification regattas, which are held over the next four weekends.
 
The nation's premier rowing venue, Nathan Benderson Park has hosted numerous national and international rowing events including the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic trials and the 2023 USRowing Youth National Championships. 

The 2024 Youth Series and 2024 USRowing Youth National Championships will be streamed live on Overnght for free.
