2025 Proposed Rules of Rowing Changes

USRowing has released the proposed Rules of Rowing changes for the 2025 year. All proposals can be found in the document HERE. 

In August of 2024 USRowing accepted submissions for changes to the Rules of Rowing, which were subsequently reviewed in September and where necessary, the individual submitting the proposal was contacted for clarification. 

Per our procedures, all rule changes proposals will be posted on the USRowing website from now through October 31st for public review and comment. In November, both the Rules Committee and the Referee Committee will review all suggested submissions and make recommendations to the CEO of USRowing for inclusion in the 2025 Rules of Rowing.  

To submit feedback, please email your comments to Hugh.McAdam@USRowing.org by October 31, 2024 at midnight PST. State clearly which rule changes you are commenting on, whether you are for or against the change, and what your reasoning for your stated position is. Your comments may be made public.
