2025 Selection Development Camp Announces New Location

USRowing’s Selection Development Camp training location is moving to Eastern Michigan University’s Ford Lake in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This location change from Chula Vista, California, was made to provide the best training and racing experience for the Selection Development team.  Rowers can expect the same high-quality coaching and training that has made Selection Development Camp an exceptional opportunity, with the added benefit of an elite international racing experience that will be announced later today. 

The move coincides with the newly developed and innovative Rowing Course at Ford Lake playing host to USRowing’s RowFest National Championship. The semi-permanent buoyed 2,000-meter course, has eight competition lanes, and floating launch and recovery platforms.  

The 2025 camp season is set to begin on June 23, 2025, and applications are currently open. Rowers are encouraged to apply through the membership portal or visit our website for additional information regarding the new location and registration details.
