Over 100 Clubs Racing at 2021 USRowing Masters National Championships

Taking place at Melton Hill Lake in Oakridge, Tenn., the 2021 USRowing Masters National Championships will run August 12-15.

The venue has hosted numerous USRowing championships in the past, including the 2017 USRowing Masters National Championships. Known for its calm waters, Melton Hill Lake is surrounded by mountain ridges which protect the water, allowing the lake to be an ideal location for regattas.

The championship consists of 237 events, including the men's open four with coxswain, the women's open pair and the mixed eight, amongst others. Over 1,400 entries are scheduled to compete, hailing from 111 clubs from across the nation. Amongst the participating clubs, Chinook Performance Racing has the most entries with 116 crews ready to race.

During the most recent Masters National Championships in 2019, Chinook won the Overall Points Trophy with 1035 points. The club also won the Women's Points Trophy with 606 points, however Texas Rowing Center won the Men's Points Trophy with a total of 423. Both clubs will compete in the 2021 championships.
