The History Behind Masters Nationals Trophies

The 2021 Masters National Championships have officially wrapped up. As medalists come to claim their awards, winning crews get to take home trophies that have their own unique origins and stories, including some that have been in circulation for over 30 years. We spoke with a few rowers and staff members to discuss the importance of preserving their history.

USRowing would like to extend a special thanks to all referees and volunteers, especially those who were flexible on this last day of racing and gave up their lunch break to run racing.

Congratulations to all competitors and trophy winners. This year's event concluded with Chinook winning the Overall Team Points trophy, Women's Points Trophy and Efficiency Trophy. Riverfront Recapture is taking home the Men's Points Trophy, while Texas Rowing Center clinched the Club Trophy. Click here for all team points rankings.
