USRowing Announces PR3 Four with Coxswain Selection Camp Invitations
USRowing is pleased to announce the 10 athletes who have been invited to the PR3 four with coxswain selection camp this summer. Athletes selected through the camp will represent the U.S. at the 2022 World Rowing Championships September 18-25 in Racice, Czech Republic.
While the U.S. has won silver in the event seven consecutive years in Paralympic and world championship competition, this year's crew will be entirely different from last year's Tokyo silver medalists. Five camp invitees have past national team experience, with Jaclyn Smith as the lone rower who has been part of the four with coxswain's silver-medal streak. Smith has been a member of the crew three times during that stretch including at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
Under the direction of head coach Derek Hartwick and assistant coach Andrea Thies, the camp will be held June 10-26 at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J.
