USRowing Coach Highlight: Logan Jester


Logan Jester rowed for Williams College in Massachusetts and has been coaching in the sport since graduation. A captain during his senior year, Jester earned medals with Williams at the Head of the Charles, NERC, and ECAC-NIRC regattas.

Jester comes to Rutgers after a two-year stint as the girls crew and boys cross country coach at Brooks School in Massachusetts. He began his coaching career in 2017 as the assistant boys crew coach at the Noble and Greenough School, where his team placed sixth at the USRowing Northeast Regional Championship in the novice 8+.

He made stops at Community Rowing Inc. as a coach, at CRI Newton's Stoller Boathouse as the program coordinator, and at Phillips Academy as an assistant girls crew coach. Most recently, Jester worked with the Paralympic National Team in Boston.

Jester earned a bachelor of arts in mathematics from Williams College and a graduate-level certificate from the Institute for Rowing Leadership.
