USRowing Youth Regional Championships Update

As state and local guidelines surrounding COVID-19 continue to evolve, USRowing has been working diligently on our plans for the 2021 USRowing Youth Series events starting with our six regional championships.

We have officially confirmed plans for three of our events to take place – the Central, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Youth Championships. Plans for the Northeast and Northwest Youth Championships are still being finalized, and we hope to have an announcement shortly. We continue to work with the regional advisory groups and LOCs to solidify those events. Unfortunately, we've had to cancel the Southwest Youth Championships due to local and state guidelines.

USRowing Central Youth Championships: May 1-2. Entries are now open.

USRowing Southeast Youth Championships: May 8-9. Entries are now open.

USRowing Mid-Atlantic Youth Championships: May 8-9. Entries open April 1.

USRowing Northeast Youth Championships: TBA

USRowing Northwest Youth Championships: TBA

USRowing Southwest Youth Championships: Cancelled

USRowing's Youth National Regatta will take place June 10-13 in Sarasota, Fla.

As always, our number one priority is to run a safe regatta, and Covid-19 adds a new layer of planning to help ensure the safety of our athletes, coaches, referees, volunteers, staff, supporters, and other attendees. A COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Plan will be in place for each of the scheduled regattas and will be published closer to the scheduled event dates.
