Personal
Megan was born on 8/21/1983 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and attended St. Croix Falls High School. After finishing her rowing career, Megan would like to settle in San Diego, start writing her book, restore her Schwinn Le Tour II and travel as much as possible, with special emphasis on American National Parks and hiking the Triple Crown. Megan writes a blog about her training, travel and competitive experiences at megankalmoe.com. Megan enjoys drawing, writing, cycling, rock climbing, spoiling her two rescue cats, cooking, baking, origami, gardening, knitting and bird watching. She is an avid fan of the New York Times Crossword and does the daily puzzle every morning before practice.
