Claire Friedlander

Two-Under 23, 2022, Senior, 2026

Finished fourth in the lightweight quadruple sculls at the 2022 World Rowing Under 23 Championships. Won gold in the women's quadruple sculls and lightweight quadruple sculls at the 2024 Holland Beker Regatta. 

Claire was named Academic All-Big Ten Honoree and received a Varsity letter her freshman year of college. Claire was team MVP in high school. She enjoys road biking, hiking, surfing, and running across frozen lakes. She is a twin and a volunteer fire fighter. Claire's best friend in high school rowed and introduced her to the sport. She lists Rachel Illgen as a personal hero because of her high sporits and positive outlook on life. She just wants to go fast and have fun, and Claire admires her charisma and love for others. Her Wisco teammates call her "Philly," and she aspires to be her teammates' number one fan on and off the water. She majored in Psychology. She was coached by Craig Hoffman.
