Finished fourth in the eight and sixth in the lightweight double sculls at the 2023 Pan American Games. Finished seventh in the lightweight double sculls at the 2023 Pan American Games Qualification Regatta. Finished seventh in the lightweight pair at the 2019 World Championships. Finished third in the lightweight division at the 2019 World Rowing Indoor Championships. Finished 17th in the single sculls at the 2018 World Rowing Cup III. Finished sixth in the lightweight pair at the 2017 World Championships. Finished third in the lightweight eight at the 2015 World Rowing Championships.

Finished fifth in the lightweight single sculls at the 2022 USRowing Speed Order. Won the lightweight double sculls at the 2021 USRowing Club National Championships. Won the lightweight pair at the 2019 U.S. Senior National Team Trials. Finished sixth in the lightweight single sculls at the 2019 USRowing Speed Order. Won the lightweight double sculls at the 2018 USRowing Speed Order. Finished sixth in the lightweight single sculls at the 2015 USRowing Speed Order. Finished third in the lightweight single sculls at the 2013 Speed Order. Finished ninth in the four at the 2007 IRA National Championships.

Alex is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society. As a freshman, he walked on to his college team. His brother, Zach, is his hero because he is the most driven person he knows and always puts family first. He loves Trader Joe's, Star Trek, and Star Wars.
