Lauren O'Connor

Two-Senior, 2023; Olympic, 2024

Finished ninth in the quadruple sculls at the 2024 Olympic Games. Won the quadruple sculls at the 2024 World Rowing Final Olympic & Paralympic Qualification Regatta. Finished 11th in the quadruple sculls at the 2023 World Rowing Championships. Finished fifth in the double sculls and seventh in the quadruple sculls at the 2023 World Rowing Cup II.

Won the quadruple sculls at the 2024 U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Team Trials - Rowing. Won the double sculls at the 2023 USRowing National Selection Regatta. Finished second in the single sculls at the 2023 USRowing Winter Speed Order. Finished second in the single sculls at the 2022 USRowing Pan American Games Qualifier Trials. Won the single sculls at the 2022 U.S. Lotman Challenge. Finished second in the single sculls at the 2022 USRowing Senior National Team Trials 3.

Lauren was an Academic All-Big Ten rower in college. She enjoys hiking, camping, crochet, cycling, cooking, and trying new restaurants. She grew up showing pigs, rabbits, and horses as a part of her local 4-H club. Lauren has a black belt in martial arts. She took vocal lessons and was in musicals for 12 years as a child. Lauren walked onto the team at Wisconsin after hearing about it from a high school friend who thought she'd enjoy it. She works in environmental conservation and protection. After rowing, she ideally likes to spend most of her time in the woods.
