Finished fourth in the double sculls at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Won the double sculls at the 2024 World Rowing Final Olympic & Paralympic Qualification Regatta. Finished 13th in the double sculls at the 2023 World Rowing Championships. Finished second in the double sculls at the 2023 World Rowing Cup II. Finished seventh in the double sculls at the 2022 World Rowing Championships. Competed in the quadruple sculls at the 2021 World Rowing Final Olympic Qualification Regatta. Finished fourth in the quadruple sculls at the 2021 World Rowing Cup I.

Won the single sculls at the 2023 USRowing Winter Speed Order. Won the double sculls at the 2022 Senior World Championships Trials II. Won the quadruple sculls at the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Rowing. Finished second in the double sculls at the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Rowing. Won the lightweight eight at the 2019 IRA National Championships. Won the lightweight eight at the 2017 IRA National Championships.

Sorin enjoys spending time with friends and playing Jenga. He was introduced to rowing in his freshman year of high school through one of his friends.
