Personal
Zach enjoys cooking, grilling, swimming, and playing the guitar. He is trying to keep seven houseplants alive while traveling the country/world for rowing. He says he has no less than five different kinds of cheese in his fridge at any given point in time. Zach cant travel without a book, headphones, and a deck of cards. He started erging one winter in high school and liked it so much, he decided to try out the real deal on the water. After rowing, hes like to see his family and friends more often, golf, try surfing (although hes kind of nervous about sharks), and build a pinball machine. His favorite place to compete is Lucerne, Switzerland, and his favorite places to travel are Hawaii, Colorado, and Switzerland.
