Personal

Alexander is an avid outdoorsman and amateur chef. He enjoys fly fishing, archery, and orienteering. He has won multiple speed eating competitions. He found the sport of rowing through his grandparents. He lists John Graves as one of his personal heroes. Alexander started following his rowing journey when he was a young high school rower with aspirations to compete internationally. John has since become a great mentor and even better friend. A true role model. When hes done rowing he wants to work in the sustainable construction space and continue to volunteer as a first responder. His favorite place to compete is Banyoles, Spain. His favorite place to travel is Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. He lists Derek Redmond being helped by his father in the 1992 Olympics as his favorite Olympic moment.
