Sophia was an ACRA second-team all-Academic team member in 2019 and was awarded the William & Mary Most Valuable Oarswomen the same year. She won the 2022 Schuylkill Navy Female Athlete of the Year. Sophia loves biking, trying out new coffee spots, and spending ridiculous amounts of time watching Instagram cooking reals. Sophia said If you want to make her happy, just send a care package of snacks. She started rowing in college after signing up for the club team at the college club fair at The College of William & Mary. Other than her mom, Sophie lists Allyson Felix as a personal hero.
