In 2022, he won the Harvard Lowell House Judge Charles Wyzanski Award, which recognizes a student interested in the law who shares Judge Wyzanski's love of vigorous conversation and his concern for the theoretical and practical issues of justice. Christian loves playing and watching soccer, reading about history and politics, playing the piano, and relaxing and talking with his friends and family. He is super proud to be Palestinian American. He speaks fluent French and Haitian Créole and is conversational in Spanish and Arabic. His dad suggested Christian try out for rowing if he got cut from his high school’s freshman basketball team, which he did. He saw rowing in the 2008 Olympics and thought he could excel at it due to his physicality and how hard he worked. Christian lists his parents as his personal heroes for everything they have sacrificed for him and for guiding him to be the person he is today. His favorite place to travel is Palestine to visit family and connect with his roots. He has an older sister, Stephanie, and a younger brother, Sebastien.
