Charlie Winder

Charlies enjoys biking, skiing, sailing, tennis, and swimming. Being from Boston, he was always surrounded by the sport of rowing. He watched Head of the Charles many times before he started rowing, and his dad rowed casually when he was younger. Because of his height, his mom and a lot of his dad's old friends pushed him to try out rowing and he immediately loved it. At his tennis program, Charlie won the Robert W. Edge Award, which is given for sportsmanship in tennis. He would  like to go into real estate or consulting. My favorite book is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. He loves gothic and/or creepy sort of books, so he loves a lot of du Maurier's books. He also likes Dracula by Bram Stoker. He plans to read some more of his books, even if they are significantly less renowned than Dracula.
