Zara Taylor

One-U19, 2025

Won silver in the eight at the 2025 Under-19 World Rowing Championships.

Zara was named to the National Honor Society. She received her Coach’s Award for her senior season at Radnor Girls Crew Club. She holds a Radnor Girls Crew Club team record. She was named to the USRowing Honor Roll. She enjoys hiking with her dog, yoga, cooking, and travelling. Her brother introduced her to rowing because he was an avid rower. She wants to pick up other endurance sports such as running, swimming, and biking. She wants to sign up for some triathlons and visit the national parks across the country. Her favorite shows are Nobody Wants This, Ted Lasso, or White Collar. Her favorite movies include Avatar, Mighty Joe Young, and basically the entire Marvel series. Her favorite band/singers are the Lumineers, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan, Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Joel. Her brother, Zach Taylor, rowed throughout high school and for UC Berkeley. He was also a national team athlete. Her cousin, Holly Crews, rowed for South Africa’s national team at the 2022 and 2023 World Championships, and just concluded her freshman year at Brown University.
