The Masters Camp is designed for competitive masters rowers who are ready to elevate their racing performance and small boat skills. Whether you’re sharpening your edge for upcoming regattas or refining your technique, this camp provides focused training in a supportive, high-performance environment.
This camp is ideal for athletes who:
- Are preparing for the Dogwood Masters Classic / USRowing Southeast Masters Championships, USRowing RowFest National Championships, or other spring masters regattas and want to arrive race-ready
- Want to increase boat speed while refining technique in both sweep and sculling
- Are seeking individualized coaching, high-quality technical feedback, and meaningful time in small boats
- Enjoy training alongside motivated masters athletes committed to improving their performance
- Thrive in a focused, competitive, and supportive training environment
Participants should be comfortable rowing in small boats and prepared to engage in multiple daily training sessions.
Through expert coaching, targeted drills, and extensive time on the water, athletes will leave with new technical tools, increased confidence, and a renewed sense of speed heading into the racing season.

Information:
Immerse yourself in a focused training experience at Oak Ridge Rowing Association, located on Melton Lake—a 7-lane, premier rowing venue in the United States and a frequent host of all levels of US based competition.
Masters Camp provides a comprehensive environment for technical refinement, small boat development, and race preparation. Over four days, athletes will train with experienced coaches and receive specialized instruction designed to sharpen speed, technique, and overall performance ahead of the summer racing season.
The camp runs Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, May 29, allowing participants the opportunity to remain in Oak Ridge and compete at the Dogwood Masters Classic USRowing Southeast Masters Championships, that weekend.
Registration Fee: $999 (does not include housing or transportation).
The registration fee includes:
- Access to coaching and small boats for all on-water sessions
- Catered lunch on the two full training days
- Video review sessions to analyze technique and boat movement
- Mental performance coaching to build focus and race readiness
- Functional movement sessions to enhance strength, flexibility, and injury prevention
Cancellation Policy:
The Masters Camp registration fee is fully refundable within 48 hours of registration. Cancellations are 50% refundable through May 11. Beginning May 12, 2026, registration fees are non-refundable.
