USRowing Announces 2026 U23 and U19 National Team Selection Procedures
USRowing is proud to announce that the selection procedures for the 2026 U23 and U19 national teams are now posted. The 2026 selection procedures continue to prioritize individual athlete potential and development as USRowing looks toward the future of American rowing and prepares its athletes for the 2028 and 2032 Olympic Games.
The U19 trials will take place on June 15-16 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida, after the 2026 USRowing Youth National Championships and will include the single sculls and pair events. Following community feedback, the date was changed from the previously published selection procedures to make it a separate event. Meanwhile, the U23 trials will be held in West Windsor, N.J., on July 3-5.
USRowing’s Pathways Program and these selection procedure changes represent a comprehensive effort to create a stronger and more sustainable pipeline of athletes, capable of competing at the highest levels.
