As part of our ongoing support for athletes balancing high-performance training with career development, a few National Team athletes are seeking remote, flexible, or part-time professional opportunities as they prepare for World Championships and the LA 2028 Olympic cycle. They are especially interested in roles and connections that can accommodate training schedules.

Finance & Remote Work Opportunities
A National Team athlete currently completing graduate studies in finance and preparing to relocate to Chula Vista is seeking entry points into the finance industry.

They are interested in:

  • Remote or Southern California–based role in finance
  • Employers supportive of high-performance training schedules
  • Networking connections in banking, investment, corporate finance, or related fields

Software Engineering → Product & Data Strategy
A senior team member working in software engineering is exploring a career transition toward product management and data-driven strategy.

They are interested in:

  • Remote product management / cross-functional technology role
  • Opportunities to deepen data analytics expertise
  • Roles at the intersection of marketing, brand strategy, sponsorship, and consumer engagement
  • Flexible pathways that align technical, analytical, and creative skill sets

Education, Writing & Mission-Driven Nonprofit Work
A National Team athlete and recent collegiate graduate is exploring career paths in mission-driven work focused on education and community impact.

They are interested in:

  • Remote nonprofit, public service, or community-based role
  • Grant writing, fundraising, and development
  • Writing, communications, and copywriting
  • Education access initiatives and community-based programs
  • Informational conversations with professionals in related fields
