Olympic Trials in Women’s Pair to be Contested in June

USRowing will host a third set of 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Rowing from June 4-7 in order to select the women's pair that will represent the U.S. in Tokyo, the organization announced on Thursday. The women's pair trials will be held on Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J.

In February of 2020, USRowing Training Center-Princeton's Tracy Eisser (Fair Lawn, N.J.) and Kristine O'Brien (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) won the women's pair at the 2020 National Selection Regatta in Chula Vista, Calif., earning the right to race at a World Rowing Cup for the chance to be named to the Olympic Team.

While initially accepting that opportunity, Eisser and O'Brien have decided to forego competing at the World Rowing Cup, opening up the women's pair for selection through the Olympic Trials in June.
