USRowing Announces Invitations to 2026 Under 19 National Team Selection Camp
USRowing is pleased to announce the athletes invited to attend the 2026 Under 19 National Team Selection Camp. Fifty-six athletes will compete for spots in the men’s and women’s four, quadruple sculls, double sculls, and eight. These boats will represent the United States at the 2026 World Rowing Under 19 Championships, scheduled for August 6-9 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Caitlin McClain returns for her fifth year as Head Coach of the U19 women’s team and her first year as Head Coach of the U19 Selection Camp. She was also named a USRowing Pathways Talent Coach in Fall 2025, reflecting her leadership within the national development system. McClain brings extensive experience across the U19 pathway and will continue to lead a highly competitive, development-focused program as the head coach of both the men's and women's teams.
She is supported by Nick Haley, a long-standing member of the U19 national team staff, along with James Konopka, Jamie Phelps, Carol Dinion, Geordie Macleod, and Allison Foster, all of whom bring valuable experience within the U19 system. Together, this accomplished group provides continuity and a strong foundation for athlete development as the team prepares for international competition.
