USRowing Announces Invitations to Women’s Quadruple Sculls Olympic Selection Camp
PRINCETON, N.J. – USRowing is pleased to announce that the following 10 athletes have accepted invitations to the selection camp for the women's quadruple sculls that will represent the U.S. at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Being held in Princeton, N.J., the camp got underway this week following last week's second 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Rowing. The U.S. finished seventh in the event at the 2019 World Rowing Championships, securing a spot in Tokyo for the American crew. At the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, the U.S. crew finished fifth.
Invitations to the men's selection camp and women's sweep selection camp for the eight and four were announced previously. For an overview of how the U.S. Olympic Rowing Team is selected, click here. The entire U.S. Olympic Rowing Team will be selected by June 6.

The following athletes also earned invitations to selection camp but chose not to attend.

Michelle Sechser (Folsom, Calif./University of Tulsa)
Gevvie Stone (Newton, Mass./Princeton University)
Kristina Wagner (Weston, Mass./Yale University)
Stone and Wagner have declared their intent to compete in the women's double sculls following their victory at the 2020 U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Team Trials – Rowing. Similarly, Reckford and Sechser have declared their intent to attempt qualify for the Olympics in the lightweight women's double sculls at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta following their victory in the event at the Olympic Trials. Goetzinger chose not to accept her invitation.
