USRowing Announces Tom Siddall as 2026 Para PR3 National Team Coach
USRowing is pleased to announce Tom Siddall as the PR3 Lead Coach for the 2026 season. Siddall returns to this role after leading the PR3 Mixed Four with Coxswain to silver medals at the 2023 World Rowing Championships and the 2024 Paralympic Games. He will lead the PR3 crews representing the United States during the 2026 international racing season, including the World Championships in Amsterdam from August 24-30.Â
Siddall is currently in his fourth year as the Harvard men’s Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. He helped lead Harvard to one of its most successful seasons in over a decade last spring with Eastern Sprints victories and successful IRA Championship performances, resulting in three crews on the podium. Prior to joining the staff at Harvard, he served as the Associate Head Coach at Tufts University, where his crews achieved program bests at the NIRCs and Division III IRA National Championships.Â
USRowing’s Head Coach of Paralympic Disciplines, Ellen Minzner, noted: “With Tom’s experience developing successful collegiate athletes, as well as his specific success with the PR3 four with coxswain, I am confident we can achieve our goals in international competition this year, and in the lead-up to the home Games in LA2028.”Â
In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Siddall has been actively involved with USRowing’s Para High Performance program. His experience across both collegiate and elite para rowing environments positions him well to lead the PR3 squad in 2026. Siddall has previously coached at USRowing, including ODP Camps, ID Camps, Youth Regional Challenge, and U19 Selection Camp.Â
Siddall is a USRowing Level 3 coach and completed a graduate-level certificate at the Institute for Rowing Leadership (IRL) at Community Rowing, Inc. He graduated from Fairfield University, where he was captain of the rowing team.Â
The deadline to submit erg scores for consideration for the PR3 Selection Camp for both the PR3 Mixed double sculls and the PR3 Mixed Four with coxswain is May 1, 2026. For more information, click here.Â
