​​USRowing at the 2025 San Diego Crew Classic


USRowing will be at the San Diego Crew Classic from March 28-30, 2025, hosting two roundtable discussions with Q&A sessions for the rowing community. USRowing leadership will attend alongside Chris Furlow, Director of Member Experience/Learning and Development, and Tom Rooks, Director of Safeguarding. Both will join these sessions and be available to meet 1:1 with members of the community throughout the regatta.

Members of the U.S. National Team will also be at the regatta all weekend. They will lead off on Friday afternoon with an exhibition race with the United States Marine Corps, make appearances during the USRowing roundtable discussions, and present select trophies to the winners throughout the weekend. Olympians Kate KniftonDaisy Mazzio-Manson, and Olympic bronze medalist Henry Hollingsworth will race with members of the Marines in an exhibition race. Olympic alternate Gus RodriguezJosh Diggons, Jacob Hudgins, Camille VanderMeer, and Alexandria Vallancey-Martinson will join them.

USRowing continues its efforts to identify and support Para rowing talent nationwide. This week, the organization hosted a development camp for PR1 and PR2 rowers, inviting five athletes: Jame Cooke (Annapolis Rowing Club), Chance Quarry (Lake Merritt), Christopher Campbell (Community Rowing, Inc.), and Clarice Glorioso and Elissa Robinson (Angel City Sports). These athletes will compete for USRowing in the Para events on Saturday.

  • Friday, March 28, 2025 – 12:30 -1:30 PM PT (Club 73) with U.S. National Team athlete appearances for the last 30 minutes
  • Saturday, March 29, 2025 – 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM PT (Club 73) with U.S. National Team athlete appearances for the last 30 minutes
