USRowing Board Names New Members
USRowing is pleased to announce its newly elected at-large board members for the Board of Directors.
Mary CranstonMary Cranston joins the USRowing board after an illustrious career as chair and CEO of a Global 100 Law Firm. She is the retired chair emeritus of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Cranston has served on numerous boards including VISA, AAA Insurance, TPG, Chemours and GoHealth. Cranston served as a trustee of Stanford University from 2000 to 2010. She has a proven track record in driving revenue growth and streamlining operations. Cranston holds a JD from Stanford Law School, an MA in educational psychology from UCLA, and a BA in political science from Stanford University. Cranston is a member of the Board of Trustees of the USRowing Foundation.
Andy MerrillAndy Merrill brings nearly 20 years of strategic financial communications experience to USRowing. Merrill is currently a partner at Prosek Partners, a strategic communications firm based in New York City. Merrill has worked with corporations focusing on transaction communications and issues, as well as crisis management. Merrill is a graduate of Trinity College, where he rowed and captained the lightweight crew. He has an MBA in finance from Columbia University. He is the chairman of the board of the Stamford Hospital Foundation in Stamford, Conn. and a member of the Board of Trustees of the USRowing Foundation and Row New York.
