USRowing Implements Sport Integrity Policy to Protect Fair Competition
USRowing has implemented its Sport Integrity Policy, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to protecting rowing's integrity and ensuring that competition remains fair, ethical, and free from improper outside influence.
The policy is designed to help safeguard the sport against growing integrity risks, including competition manipulation, misuse of inside information, and inappropriate involvement in sports betting. It establishes clear expectations for conduct, reporting, cooperation, education, and enforcement, while supporting USRowing’s broader responsibility to protect athletes, officials, organizations, competitions, and the trust of the rowing community.
USRowing will make annual education and awareness materials available to Covered Individuals to support understanding of sport integrity issues, reporting obligations, and ethical decision-making.
