USRowing Foundation Adds Trina Santry as Trustee
USRowing is pleased to announce the addition of Trina Santry as a Trustee to the USRowing Foundation (USRF).
Trina Santry has been around rowing most of her adult life, rowing on the varsity women’s team at Dartmouth College, competing as a masters sculler for 30 years, serving as a Steward of Friends of Dartmouth Rowing, and as a rowing parent (her sons Artie and Richie both rowed heavyweight at Dartmouth). She has an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and is retired from a career in commercial real estate. Trina and her husband Art reside in Arlington Va., but also spend time in Newport, R.I., and Alta, Utah.
“Learning to row in college changed my life and I am very proud to support the Foundation so that others may have their lives changed,” said Trina Santry. “The life skills I learned from rowing and the friends I made are a part of my everyday life, nearly fifty years after I learned to row. It has been a joy sharing rowing with my children, one of whom was also a rowing coach, and my husband, who was a master sculler. It is incredibly meaningful for me to join the other Foundation Trustees to help move the sport forward in this country.”
There are currently 36 USRowing Foundation Trustees who represent a wide breadth of professional expertise and rowing connections. A full list of USRF Trustees can be found here.
