USRowing Foundation Welcomes Four New Trustees

The USRowing Foundation is pleased to welcome Kathleen (Kathy) Briscoe, Curtis Jordan,  Eeling Lim, and Marika Page as the newest members of its Board of Trustees. Their collective experience in rowing, business, philanthropy, and leadership will help advance the Foundation's mission of supporting the future of rowing in the United States.

"Kathy, Curtis, Eeling, and Marika each bring exceptional leadership, broad professional experience, and a deep personal connection to rowing. Their willingness to serve as Trustees reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that our national team athletes and coaches have every opportunity to succeed on the world stage."

Kathleen (Kathy) Briscoe (Los Angeles, CA/ Hanover, NH)

Kathleen (Kathy) Briscoe has more than 35 years of experience in institutional real estate investment management and currently serves as Chief Capital Officer of Dermody, where she is responsible for the firm's capital strategy and execution. She is a member of Dermody's Executive Committee and Investment Committee and also leads the firm's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.

Prior to joining Dermody in 2018, Briscoe held senior leadership positions at several leading real estate investment firms, including Cordia Capital Management, IDS Real Estate Group, and Lowe Enterprises, where she spent two decades as an Executive Vice President and shareholder overseeing both fund and separate account investment strategies.

A graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School, Briscoe has remained closely connected to her alma mater through rowing. She serves on the Board of Stewards for Friends of Dartmouth Rowing, supporting the continued success of the college's rowing programs. She is also an active leader within the real estate industry, serving on the boards and advisory committees of numerous organizations, including NAREIM, PREA, ULI, and the Real Estate Round Table.

Today, Briscoe continues to combine her leadership in real estate with her commitment to philanthropy, education, and the sport of rowing.

Curtis Jordan (Sarasota, FL)

Curtis Jordan was a longtime rowing coach with national and international experience. At Princeton University, he served as Head Coach of the Women's Rowing Team from 1984 to 1990 and then as Head Coach of the Men's Heavyweight Rowing Team from 1991 to 2009. Following his tenure at Princeton, he worked with Rowing Australia through the 2012 London Olympic Games before returning to the United States to serve as USRowing's Olympic High Performance Director through the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Beyond rowing, Jordan is a multi-engine commercial pilot, a Trustee of Ringling College of Art & Design, and Vice Chairman of the Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy Board. He is also the writer and producer of the feature film Playing Through.

Eeling Lim (New York, NY)

Eeling Lim was born in Malaysia and raised in Melbourne, Australia, where her connection to rowing began at an early age. She rowed at Methodist Ladies' College, while her three older brothers competed for Melbourne Grammar School and Wesley College.

She attended the University of Melbourne, where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree and met her husband, Yen. Following graduation, Lim worked for Bvlgari in both Australia and Singapore before relocating to New York City in 2001, where she has lived ever since.

Lim has been actively involved in her children's schools, serving on committees at both The Brearley School and Trinity School. Her involvement in rowing continued through RowAmerica Rye, where her son developed his own passion for the sport.

Eeling and Yen are the parents of two children. Their daughter, Yasmin, graduated from Yale University in 2024. Their son, Lucas, represented the United States on the Under-19 National Team in 2023 and 2024 and is a rising junior on the Princeton University heavyweight rowing team.

Today, Lim is involved in her family's business and philanthropic activities.

Marika Page (Breckenridge, CO)

Marika Page is a former U.S. National Team rower, licensed clinical social worker, and coach. She represented the United States in the lightweight women's single sculls at the 2005 World Rowing Championships and has remained deeply committed to the sport throughout her career as both an athlete and coach.

Following her competitive rowing career, Page served as Director of Rowing for Colorado Rowing for more than a decade, where she developed athletes of all ages while fostering a lifelong appreciation for the values of teamwork, resilience, and leadership that rowing instills.

Professionally, Page is a licensed clinical social worker and coach with more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and organizations through periods of growth and transition. She specializes in leadership development, mental health, and organizational wellness, drawing on a diverse background spanning clinical practice, coaching, education, and public service.

Today, Page maintains a private practice while coaching leaders and organizations to build healthier, more resilient cultures. She continues to combine her expertise in mental health with her passion for rowing, helping individuals and teams perform at their best both on and off the water.
