USRowing Names PR3 Four with Coxswain for 2022 World Rowing Championships

USRowing is pleased to announce the PR3 four with coxswain crew that will represent the U.S. at the 2022 World Rowing Championships September 18-25 in Racice, Czech Republic.

The U.S. has won silver in the event for seven consecutive years in Paralympic and world championship competition but will feature an entirely new lineup in 2022. The crew includes three newcomers to the U.S. Para National Team and two veterans of the squad.

Molly Moore (Indianapolis, Ind./Harvard College) and Andrew Wigren (Providence, R.I./Hobart College) will be racing on their second national team, having rowed in the PR3 women's and men's pairs, respectively, at the 2019 World Rowing Championships. Saige Harper (Easthampton, Mass./Sacred Heart University), Alex Flynn (Danvers, Mass./St. John's Prep), and coxswain Emilie Eldracher (Andover, Mass./Massachusetts Institute of Technology) will be racing on their first national team.

"It is exciting to be able to field an entirely new crew in this event, and it shows the strength of the U.S. PR3 program moving into 2024," said Ellen Minzner, USRowing Director of Para High Performance.

The crew will be coached by head coach Derek Hartwick and assistant coach Andrea Thies.

The PR3 four with coxswain is the first boat to be named to the 2022 World Rowing Championships' roster. The remainder of the squad will be selected by mid-August, with the rest of the Para crews being selected next week at the 2022 USRowing Summer National Championships.
