USRowing Invites Athletes to Apply for the World University Games Team
USRowing is excited to announce the application for the 2025 World University Games. This year's games will be taking place in Duisburg, Germany from July 25-27. This is an opportunity for promising senior team and collegiate athletes to be trained by elite coaches and compete in a prestigious international regatta. Athletes from the ages of 17 and 25 are welcome to apply.
The addition of the World University Games to the USRowing Pathways Program allows athletes valuable insight into the senior national team and exposes rowers to elite-level international racing to build confidence and skill in a global competitive environment.
USRowing will be inviting 12-20 athletes of each gender to the training camps. The sweep camp will take place in Ann Arbor, Michigan and will be led by University of Michigan Men's Head Coach, Gregg Hartsuff. The sculling camp will take place in High Point, North Carolina, coached by High Point University Assistant Coach, Cory Conzemius.
Through the World University Games team, USRowing aims to bridge the gap between collegiate rowing and elite international competition, ensuring that the next generation of American rowers is equipped for success on the world stage.
