2026 World University Championships Team/Camp
The World University Championships (WUC) occurs in even numbered years and is an international competition between participating countries. The competition is overseen by FISU (International University Sports Federation). FISU also offers the World University Games (WUG) in odd numbered years. The events offered in each competition are the same. The difference being that WUG has all (mostly) Olympic Sports together in one city over a one to two week time period, similar to an Olympic Games, and WUC is staged as individual sporting contests throughout the calendar year, around the world. Many rowing federations treat it as a development opportunity for athletes with international potential.
USRowing will invite 12-20 athletes per gender to go to the 2026 World Rowing University Championships in London, Ontario August 13-15. Athletes invited to this team will be required to complete a training camp in Ann Arbor, MI (sweep) prior to departure for competition.
