Personal

Bennett enjoys fishing and going to the beach. He moved to Sarasota Crew during the winter of 2018 (sophomore year of high school) to row and to receive better training for his national team goals. He was introduced to rowing through his brother, Lucas Rossell, during the summer going into eighth grade. Bennett lists his father as his personal hero because he, as well as his mother, have committed their time, money, and countless hours away from him in order to help Bennett succeed. Bennett says their commitment to each other and the sacrifices they have made to help him succeed have driven him to be the best person, student, and athlete that he could possibly be.
