Won bronze in the Under-19 solo and came fourth in the mixed double sculls at the 2022 World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals. Won silver in the junior mixed double sculls and reached the quarterfinals in the junior solo event at the 2021 World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals.

Won the junior single sculls and the junior mixed double sculls at the 2022 Beach Sprints National Team Trials. Won the junior single sculls and the junior mixed double sculls at the 2021 Beach Sprints National Team Trials. Finished 12th in the U17 single sculls at the 2021 USRowing Youth National Regatta. Finished fourth in the U17 single sculls at the 2021 USRowing Southeast Youth Championships.

Brian began rowing when he didn't make his school's junior varsity soccer team. He was named USRowing's 2021 Beach Sprint National Team Male Athlete of the Year.
