Andrew Michael Curry

Finished 10th in the youth eight at the 2019 Head of the Charles Regatta. Won the youth eight at the 2019 USRowing Central Youth Championships.

Michael is an Eagle Scout and was chosen Varsity Most Valuable Oarsman at Jesuit Crew. He enjoys road biking, skiing, SCUBA diving, and camping. Michael claims to go faster on skis than the posted Texas speed limits. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is his favorite animated series, and he likes to free dive with SCUBA divers. Michael lists his father as his personal hero, saying, "He came to America as a teenager with hopes of a better life and wants to give his children the best life possible. He works harder than anyone I know to achieve that goal. Without my father and my family, I would not be where I am, or who I am, today."
